How we worked with UCAS to revitalise their annual Admissions Conference and help make it more engaging, relevant and accessible to all.
Waterfall enjoy an exclusive partnership with trends consultancy Future Index who specialise in providing workshops, strategy and inspiration to the world of Higher Education. After Future Index worked with UCAS to redefine and reshape the strategy for their annual admissions conference, together we reignited the event by creating a new name and vibrant event identity.
The conference intended to bring everyone in student recruitment, marketing and admissions together. It aimed to celebrate the people who open up access to education for all, improve student journeys and inspire a million dreams (the number of students who are predicted to apply to university in 2030). So, we created the name ‘Access All Areas’ and supporting line ‘Inspiring a million dreams’.
As well as creating the logo and identity, we collaborated with UCAS to write, design and produce the event and marketing collateral. This included emails, web content, agendas (digital & print), stage design, event signage, speaker Gifs, welcome totems, balloons with audio tags, digital screen artwork, UCAS stand graphics and more.
The event sold out early and attracted over 380 attendees from the world of higher education. The talks proved very popular as they were packed full of inspiration and thought leadership. And the new look and theme helped to create a real buzz and collaborative spirit for the sector during the 2-day event at the Midland Hotel in our home city of Manchester.
