    Charlotte Fenney
    Agency Director

    Highly respected in the sector for her insight, creativity and professionalism, Charlotte is our brilliant leader. Charlotte has over 20 years’ experience of managing teams, delivering creative projects and working with clients at the highest of levels.

    As well as delivering award-winning creative solutions at Waterfall for UCAS, UUKi and different universities and colleges, Charlotte was the key client contact for the likes of ASDA at Havas, where she also project managed Edge Hill University’s TV adverts. Someone who leads from the front and plays a key role in most of our creative projects, Charlotte is a dream to work with.

    Jim Tudor
    Strategy Director

    For over a decade Jim was a board director at Havas, one of the largest integrated marketing communications agencies in the world. He ran a number of agencies in the group with a combined turnover of £30 million.

    A founding director of Waterfall, Jim also runs sister company and trends consultancy Future Index®. Specialising in working with universities, business schools and the higher education sector, Jim has partnered with over 30 European institutions. As well as providing strategic and creative consultancy, Jim delivers inspiring hacks, workshops and presentations of the latest trends.

    A hands-on professional and creative strategist with over 20 years’ advertising and marketing experience, Jim has managed all kinds of projects. University visions and plans. Student-led communications platforms. Award-winning social media campaigns. Alumni engagement initiatives. You name it.

    Jim has delivered keynote presentations at CASE, CIM HE, UCAS and numerous conferences in Europe. He also has significant experience working outside of education, managing creative work for blue-chip names like ASDA, Halifax, Virgin Media and more.

    Paul Tannahill
    Creative Director - Design

    An amazing designer and art director at the forefront of contemporary design, Paul gives our creative work an edge. But there’s so much more going on in his creative mind than the hottest pantone colours and latest typefaces, design trends and technological innovations.

    Full of bold ideas and brilliant concepts, Paul is a creative strategist and inspirational co-founder of Waterfall who loves taking on all kinds of briefs from brand transformations to student recruitment campaigns. Over the last 30 years, Paul’s work has won countless awards. Not only for universities and colleges at Waterfall, but for big brands such as Virgin Media, Asda and Specsavers during his time at Havas.

    Richard Hartley
    Creative Director - Copy

    Rich is a gifted storyteller, creative strategist, conceptualiser, copywriter and so much more. One of Waterfall’s co-founders, Rich’s words and creative thinking have brought different brands and marketing campaigns to life for over 30 years. He comes into his own working with universities, students, researchers and alumni to tell their stories in a compelling and powerful way.

    Rich has written copy for everything you can think of. Brand narratives. Creative strategies. Campaigns. TOV guidelines. Videos. Beer mats. You name it. He’s won more awards than he can remember and judged at the HEIST, RBA and MEN Awards.

    Superpower: Getting to the heart of what matters to produce simple yet highly creative solutions to complex challenges.

    Andrea Mellow

    The heartbeat of Waterfall, Andrea builds strong collaborative relationships with our amazing clients and makes sure all kinds of marketing projects run smoothly from start to finish. Friendly, professional and incredibly supportive, Andrea always goes above and beyond to deliver work that exceeds expectations and achieves results.

    Andrea gained wide-ranging marketing experience working with a variety of commercial clients before specialising in Education Marketing for the last decade. She loves getting stuck into projects, whether it’s getting to the heart of a client’s needs, managing a complex print project or co-ordinating a shoot in minute detail. Key highlights for Andrea include the award-winning NTU ‘Re:searchers Re:vealed’ video series and The University of Manchester ‘Do Things Differently’ campaign.
